UPDATE: All power has been returned to Stead, Spanish Springs & Washoe Valley.
UPDATE -- 8:35PM - NV Energy spokesman Calder Chism tells News 4 power is restored to all customers in Spanish Springs as of 8 p.m.
Chism says 1,200 customers in Stead are still without power and they are working to resolve the issue and restore power to the area by 11:30 p.m.
UPDATE - 6:48PM - All Washoe Valley power has been restored as of 5:30.
There is no estimate on when the power will be restored to other areas.
UPDATE - 5:20PM - NV Energy says most of Stead's power is restored, and some customers in Spanish Springs have had their power restored.
Many customers in Fernley lost power, but had it quickly restored.
Washoe Valley has 130 customers without power, and crews are heading there now.
All outages are most likely weather related.
STEAD & SPANISH SPRINGS, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) - NV Energy tells News 4 they are working two power outages. One in the Stead area and another in Spanish Springs.
3427 customers are without power in the Stead area. NV Energy says the effected areas are near Lemon Valley Road & Red Rock Road. That outage was caused by a lighting strike on a power poll in Lemon Valley.
There is also an outage in Spanish Springs effecting about 3955 customers. NV Enegry says the cause of that outages is not yet know.
NV Enegry is also getting reports of power outages in the Washoe Valley, but it is too early to tell how many customers are without power in that area.
There is no estimate on time what time power will be restored to the areas.
