CARSON CITY, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) - Quilters used their skills to sew the fabric of Nevada into artful quilts to celebrate 150 years of statehood.

The 15 quilts were on display at the Carson Valley quilt show this weekend among hundreds of other quilts from around the country. The “Nevada Then, and Now Celebrating 150 Years of Statehood” quilt challenge had to include an inch of two chosen pieces of fabric.

The quilts will be on display at the Dayton library.
