RPD investigates potential robbery on South Virginia

RENO, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- Reno Police Department is investigating a potential robbery at a convenience store on South Virginia street.

Shortly after 1 a.m. this morning, Police tell News 4 a person entered the convenience store at 12245 South Virginia with a handgun. It is not known if the suspect left with any cash, but witnesses say he was wearing blue jeans and a mask.

Investigators say a person with a similar description may be involved in another robbery in the Atlantis parking lot about ten minutes prior to the robbing of the convenience store. Residents with any information regarding this incident can call secret witness at 322-4900.
