RPD issues 142 citations during two day traffic operation

RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- The Nevada Office of Traffic Safety Joining Forces Grant funded a two day traffic enforcement operation in which Officers focused on high accident locations within the City of Reno and issued 142 traffic citations.

Police say many of the citations were issued to drivers who were seen using their cell phones while driving.

Reno Police warn drivers to pay attention at all times while operating their vehicle.

cell phones are a two-way cop-out. This is a socially accepted use unless it is blatant. i see so many nonfunctioning tail and headlights, tailgaters, plenty of speeders. ho-hum just another Quota 2day!!
