Reno Police determine shots fired to be unfounded, code yellow lockdown lifted

UPDATE: RENO, Nev. ( & KRNV) -- Reno Police have just told News 4 that their investigation has revealed the situation appears to be nothing. The precautionary lockdown at Peavine Elementary has been lifted. 

RENO, Nev. ( & KRNV) -- Reno Police have arrived at a home on Alturas Ave. and Grandview Ave. to investigate a report of shots fired in the home.

According to the Washoe County School District, nearby Peavine Elementary School has been put on a precautionary code yellow lockdown. Some kids reported they heard shots fired from the school.

Reno Police have told News 4 there does not appear to be a disturbance, but are investigating.
