Reward offered for bank robbery information

RENO, Nev. ( & KRNV) -- Secret Witness is offering a reward of $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect wanted in connection with the bank robbery of the Nevada State Bank on Tuesday.

According to Reno Police, the suspect entered the bank on Moana Lane and Lakeside and demanded money from the teller. After obtaining an unknown amount of money, the suspect was last seen walking northbound from the bank. No weapon was displayed.

Police say the suspect is described as a white adult male, 45-50 years old, 5-10 to 6-0 tall, with a thin build, and was last seen wearing a black jacket, straw hat and sunglasses.

For as many bank robberies there are in Reno, you would think that the banks would step up security.

I just don't understand why there aren't 2 cameras on the left and right side of each teller window, so that when individuals step up to the window a perfectly clear facial picture is taken. Every time I see these bank pictures, for all I know, it could be my grandmother.
