Sparks, NV (KRNV & Police are looking for the man who robbed a car through its window on East Prater Way.

At 7 a.m. on Sunday, January 6th, passing police were flagged down by a restaurant employee in the 1400 block of East Prater Way.
The employee told officers he had been robbed in front of the restaurant at around 5 a.m.

According to the victim, he was coming in to work when two men walked in front of his vehicle and forced him to stop. One then went up to the drivers side window and demanded the victims wallet, while attempting to open the door. The victim rolled his window up, and the suspect then threw a rock through the window. With the window broken, the suspect reached into the car and took the victims wallet. The victim received a minor cut from broken glass but was otherwise unharmed.

Police say they dont know why the victim did not call earlier.

The first suspect is described as possibly Hispanic, 18-20 years of age, roughly 5' 6" with a thin build and short black hair. The second suspect is described as an unknown race male, around 18-20 years old, 5'1"0 with curly shoulder length brown hair. Both subjects were last seen walking west bound on Prater Way and one of them might have had a small white dog with them.

The Sparks Police Department is asking that anyone who might have seen the robbery or the suspects in the area contact detectives at 353-2225 or Secret Witness at 322-4900.
