SPARKS, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- Speed and alcohol may be a factor in a three-vehicle crash that caused Vista Boulevard in Sparks to be closed on Friday night.
According to the Sparks Police Department, the incident happened around 9 p.m. near the corner of Vista Boulevard and Wingfield Parkway. A northbound vehicle was attempting to pass in the left lane, lost control, and rolled over the median. There, it collided with two southbound vehicles, causing the closure between Wingfield Hills Road and Wingfield Parkway on Vista Boulevard.
Sparks PD said that passengers were taken to an area hospital with minor injuries, and the driver has been arrested for DUI.
Traffic has resumed on Vista Boulevard.
