SPD releases sketch to help identify stabbing suspect

RENO, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- The Sparks Police Department has released a sketch of the suspect in the recent Sparks stabbing incident, which was completed with the assistance of the victim.

Sparks Police detectives are still investigating the incident where a man was stabbed while sitting in his car in an apartment complex late Sunday night. SPD says the suspect has not been identified, and detectives believe the suspect may have sustained an injury during the incident. It is unknown if the injury would have requried medical treatment.

SPD says there aren't any new leads in the case. Those with information regarding this incident are being asked to contact the Sparks Police Department Detective Division at 353-2225 or Secret Witness at 322-4900.

SPARKS, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- A man was stabbed while sitting in his car in a Sparks apartment complex late Sunday night.

Just before 11 p.m. Sparks Police were dispatched to a stabbing victim needing assistance in the area of Sparks Boulevard and Eagle Pass Road. The victim was found sitting in a vehicle with several non-life threatening injuries. He told police he was in his car making a phone call when he was reportedly approached by a short-haired Hispanic man in his early twenties who began stabbing him.

The victim was treated at Renown for his injuries and is expected to be recovering. This investigation remains ongoing and no further information is available at this time.

How much you want to bet the stabber is an illegal? When is our government going to get serious and start deporting all of them? They bring most of the crime to our area it seems. My family has 7 generations in Nevada and we're all sick of what the illegals have done to the state.
