Secret Witness offers reward for information in Jackson's armed robbery

SPARKS, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $1,500.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspects wanted in connection with the armed robbery of Jackson’s Food Store on 2095 Brierley Way in Sparks, NV.

Sparks Police say October 14, 2013 around 10:30pm, they received a 911 call from the store clerk who had been robbed at gunpoint. Witnesses stated that two males, unknown race or age, entered the door on the west side of the business and held the clerk and a patron at gun point and demanded money be handed over from the register.

Suspect number one had a black semi-handgun, is described as approximately 5’8” to 6’0" tall, medium build, wearing a black hoodie, black half mask covering his lower face, dark colored pants, white T-shirt under the hoodie and dark gloves with a light colored strips on the knuckles.

Suspect number two had a black shotgun and is described as approximately 5’8" to 6'0" tall, medium build wearing a dark shirt and pants with black shoes with white tips. The suspect was also wearing a full mask with holes cut out for his eyes and nose. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken from the register. Neither the clerk nor the patron was physically injured. The suspects may have fled in a red vehicle which was parked near the freeway entrance behind the business.

'steve' submits a cluless and useless post. the story has the usual sloppy writing. ho-hum. By the Way, this is the Chevron station right by I-80, not the late hip=hopper.

The robber could have been a police officer undercover with the clothing described in the news story.
