NORTHERN NEVADA (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- A special operation targeting sex offenders in rural northern Nevada over the weekend found four offenders in violation of their ordered conditions.
The Nevada Department of Public Safety and detectives with the investigation division teamed up for the operation. In all, 31 sex offenders were contacted. Some violations included possession of pornographic materials. Several computers and a cell phone were seized as evidence.
DPS is continuing the investigation and further criminal charges may be pursued.
