RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Filming for a major motion picture is scheduled to begin soon in northern Nevada.

Reno and Lake Tahoe will serve as the backdrop for the movie with the working title "Shark Movie." It features a carnivorous beast raising havoc in the tranquil waters of the Alpine Lake. The 19 percent tax break for productions with a budget over $500,000 goes into effect Jan. 1.

Sharks can't survive to long in fresh water. A man came here one time and wanted to display some live sharks then instead of transporting them back to the ocean he wanted to put them in Pyramid Lake.
