SPARKS, Nev. ( & KRNV) -- A minor-injury car crash at a very busy intersection is still under investigation.

The incident happened at the intersection of McCarran Boulevard and Victorian Avenue at around 8:30 p.m. on Thursday. Nevada Highway Patrol troopers said it looked like one of the two vehicles involved ran a red light, and even though the collision happened at a low speed, there are still other factors to be aware of when driving.

"There is a lot of traffic at this intersection at this time of night," said NHP Trooper Glenn Smith. "Based on our initial investigation here, both drivers are claiming the had to green light to proceed through the intersection, and it's clear that somebody wasn't where they were suppose to be."

NHP is still investigating who is at fault. Officials said they are going to look at surveillance footage from a nearby business.

drivers on McCarran tend to "gun" it when they see a yellow...and they're usually already "over"
