RENO, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- Stockholders approved the merger between MTR Gaming Group and the Eldorado Company on Friday. Now, company executives are gearing up for a presentation to the Nevada Gaming Control Board next week in Las Vegas.
Eldorado Resorts CEO Gary Carano said he expects full approval for the merger from the Gaming Control Board. Once the merger is complete, Eldorado Resorts will have properties in Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Louisiana, and of course, the Silver State, which means more options for everyone involved.
"Now our team members will have the opportunity to move to Columbus, Ohio or Chester, West Virginia, or Pennsylvania," said Carano. "In the public gaming world, this won't be the last thing we do, either."
Carano said no new properties are in the works at this time, but there is always the possibility. He did say they plan to open a Brew Brothers inside one of the Ohio locations.
Something for players who travel to look forward to, is a universal players club for all the Eldorado Resorts locations across the nation.
