South Lake Tahoe, CA (KRNV & MyNews4.com)-- According to the South Lake Tahoe Fire Department, firefighters were called to Carson Avenue at Armstrong Avenue in South Lake Tahoe after reports of a structure fire at around 12:30 on Sunday, January 20th.
In a press release from the fire, the fire was quickly extinguished and no injuries were reported. While examining fire damage investigators discovered a small marijuana growing operation. They believe that wiring modifications to power growing lights and fans were the cause of the fire, but the investigation is ongoing.
