LAS VEGAS (AP) — Federal police used a stun gun on a son of a Nevada rancher fighting a roundup of cattle that he claims have historical grazing rights northeast of Las Vegas.

Family members told the Las Vegas Review-Journal that rancher Cliven Bundy's 57-year-old sister also was knocked to the ground during a Wednesday confrontation involving dozens of protesters and several U.S. Bureau of Land Management rangers.

No serious injuries were reported and officials said no arrests were made.

A hand-held video shows protesters and law enforcement officers holding yellow stun guns and leashed dogs yelling at each other as trucks involved in the roundup attempt to drive through on State Route 170.

The BLM has shut down a 1,200-square-mile area while contractors gather about 900 cattle that officials say are trespassing.

Did you know the director of the BLM is the ex-senior aide to Harry Reid? Do you also know that Harvey Whittemore and Rory Reid are also tied up in this, as well as the Chinese energy company ENN Energy Group? Did you know that once Bundy is kicked off his land, the BLM will transfer it to Clark County who plans to sell it to ENN for pennies on the dollar (still millions)? Did you know that Harry, Rory, and Harvey will all profit as agents for the sale?

Bundys obey the law? You obviously don't know them.

All the Bundys had to do was obey the law and they would not be in this fix. All public lands ranchers have the sweetest of deals but they want it all for nothing. It is great that the Blm is finally enforcing the law.

51,you must be a vegetarian. Ranchers have grazed their cattle on Government mis-managed open range for Decades, and the Government's restriction of this grazing is the PRIMARY reason for the "Fire Seasons" we now have. The stun gun situation never would have happened if the Government had left the Rancher alone. He doesn't OWE the Feds ANYTHING for the use of land he's grazed his cattle on for years. Therefore,if you want the Government to get into the Ranching business,I hope you can live on rabbit food, because the Government fails miserably at everything they try to "manage". They couldn't even run a whorehouse without losing money.

If it's federal land then the governor can't do anything about it!! These ranchers think they can do what they want! If they don't own the land then pay up or lose your cattle!

Clark County Sheriff Douglas Gillespi is a coward. Nye County Nevada Sheriff Tony De Mayo ran the BLM out of his county. Gillespi could stop this in it's tracks if he would do his duty under the Constitution. Governor Sandoval is upset yet he does nothing. He too could act but will not! These cowardly elected officials are so 'Politically Correct” they fear for their own necks rather than do the job they were elected to do. So what if it's the Federal Government, they are violating citizens rights. As Constitutional elected officers that are obligated to act. Sadly, they will not because they are cowards!
