Suspect In Random Act of Violence Pleads Not Guilty To Murder Charges

CARSON CITY, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- The man allegedly responsible for running his car into 19 year-old Desiree Bragg on January 26, leading to her death days after, has pleaded not guilty to open murder and attempted murder charges in Carson City District Court this morning.

Leonardo Cardoza was present for his arraignment hearing at 9 a.m. in District Court in Carson City and entered his plea.The 27 year-old was previously denied bail on February 1st and is in Carson City Jail booked on charges of Battery with a Deadly Weapon, Leaving the Scene of an Accident with Injuries, and DUI.
