South Lake Tahoe, CA (KRNV & MyNews4.com)-- At 8 am on Sunday, November 11th, an opening ceremony was held for the new TJ Maxx in South Lake Tahoe.
According to a press release from TJ Maxx, in attendance at the opening was Mayor Claire Fortier, Mayor Pro Tem Tom Davis, and several other city council officials.
At the ceremony, the TJX Foundation donated $5,000 dollars to Live Violence Free, a program that provides help to disadvantaged women, and children in the local community.
The new TJ Maxx store is located at 2015 Lake Tahoe Boulevard.
