I liked when they got a $1million Grant from DOT for sidewalks along the river/1st St. or when they gave $1million to a cancer charity. or the $25K to Sparks for the marina Marketplace "lighthouse". && using sewer funds for police operating cash. Hey Joe, be a good NVadan and shussshhh UP! we need Free parking. remember, freedom ain't free, but old crumbling asphalt is...

The parking kiosks are one the of biggest "boondoggles" EVER for the city of Reno. Who paid who off or who got paid off or who is related to who? THAT'S the question. WHAT A JOKE. They have never worked right and now what do we do? The contract with this company said if they didn't work in a specified period of time, they had to convert the system back to the old meters. TOO BAD they sold all the old meters at auction. And how many extensions have we given them on that deadline? 3, 4 5? Guess who will get stuck for the bill when the city dumps the kiosk company and has to retrofit back to meters. US....THE TAXPAYER. EVERYONE sitting on that counsel when this contract was made should be removed from office for malfeasance.
