METROPOLIS, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Three people are behind bars after stealing from an elderly Elko County man while he was hospitalized.
Elko County deputies say the suspects are accused of breaking in and trashing the elderly man's home in Metropolis.
Deputies say guns and an ATV, as well as numerous household and personal items were stolen.
The suspects were arrested as deputies were investigating an unrelated theft in nearby Wells and discovered a pickup truck loaded with stolen items.
All three suspects are being held on various theft and drug possession counts.
