Reno, NV ( -- Next year, the Nevada Men's Basketball team will look a little different as two players are leaving the program.  Head Coach David Carter told News 4 that Junior Forward, Devonte Elliott and Junior Guard Jordan Burris are transferring.
Both guys have one red shirt year left.  If they choose to play in Division I, they can use it and sit out next year and play the following season.  Coach Carter also told News 4 that with these two players transferring it opens up two scholarships, something Carter will use immediately and will not pocket for later.
Last season, Burris started 16 games averaged 6.7 points and 4 rebounds per game.  Elliott started 8 games averaged 4.9 points and 3.6 boards per game.
On Sunday, 6'9" Power Forward AJ West committed to Nevada.  He averaged 10 points and 9 rebounds per game last season at Monroe College in the Bronx, New York.  In 29 games, he blocked 149 shots as a sophomore.
