LAS VEGAS (AP) — Police in Las Vegas are investigating the death of at least one person at a home in a neighborhood several miles southwest of the Las Vegas Strip.

Officer Larry Hadfield says police were called a little after 1:30 p.m. Friday to a home in the Mountain's Edge development after a neighbor reported something suspicious.

Police arrived at the home on Wolf Pack Lane to find at least one person dead.

Paramedics were summoned to check the other people in the house and homicide detectives were called to the scene.

Police aren't saying yet how many people are inside or how the one person died.
