Reno, NV (KRNV & MyNews4.com)-- A female juvenile heading to class at Sierra Vista Elementary was hit by a vehicle in the school's parking lot this morning.
Washoe County School Police on scene said that the juvenile stepped out in front of a vehicle and the vehicle's side mirror hit the juvenile's backpack. The driver of the vehicle was found not at fault and not cited and the juvenile was not injured.
