April if someone is doing the speed limit then oh well go cry some where else.... No one has to yield to you because you want to drive fast or drag a knee

april, what makes you think the mom and kids were at fault and not pulling into the turnouts? Do you suppose that maybe the speed freak on the bike could have possibly been at fault and that his actions put the family in the car in danger? I have gone up geiger when the bikes go screaming past, you don't even see them until they are upon you. Nice of you to "ASSume" the woman caused this. What an idiot.

I've ridden on Geiger and I know how frustrating it is to be stuck behind someone who absolutely refuses to use any one of the numerous turn out in order to let other traffic pass. Never been tempted to pass in a no passing zone, though. Tragic someone made the wrong decision and paid so dearly for it. Hopefully drivers will read this and consider using the turn outs when they see someone behind them wanting to pass.

I used to be this guy. 10 yrs later, and a little wiser, I highly recommend doing riding like this on the race track. It cost more, but I'm still alive. Have no real desire to ride Geiger when I can grind my knee in every turn on a closed course. No cars, cops, animals(usually), and medics on sight.
