RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- This morning around 4:15 a.m, Reno Police say they arrived on scene of a vehicle versus pedestrian and found a woman lying dead near the 5000 block of 4th Street.

Police say 33-year-old victim was walking in the roadway when she was hit by a vehicle, driven by a 57-year-old female that was traveling eastbound. After being hit by this vehicle, the deceased fell to the ground where she was hit by another vehicle traveling westbound driven by a 33-year-old male. Both drivers remained on scene and are cooperating with the investigation.

The 5000 of West 4th Street is a low lit area and the victim was wearing dark clothing at the time of the collision, according to Reno Police. Neither alcohol nor speed appears to be a factor in this collision.

This accident is currently being investigated by Detectives from the Reno Police Department Major Accident Investigation Team. Anyone with information in regards to this case is urged to contact the Reno Police Department Traffic Division at 334-2141, or Secret Witness at 322-4900.

You are a sick ass for being so self centered. This is someone's loved one that has died. Have some compassion or at least keep your mouth shut. May God have more mercy on you than you have on others.

DARK CLOTHING AGAIN!!! I don't know how many times I've almost hit some idiots that have no reflective clothing nor flashy shoes on their person. If you're going to be out walking by your lonesome, wear something reflective. I have remembered to do this since I was a kid. I'm now 61. Anyone that doesn't have reflective clothing and goes walking at night has a death wish.
