RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- One of the people who died in the head-on collision on Highway 50 on Sunday has been identified.
Nevada Highway Patrol reports 26-year-old Sierra Grace Woodward, out of Carson City, was the passenger in the Nissan Altima that drove the wrong way on the highway. Woodward died from her injuries. The Nissan was being driven by 34-year-old Jason Cloutier of Carson City.
NHP says for an unknown reason, Cloutier hit the front of a white Ford Taurus head-on. Cloutier was transported via care flight to Renown with critical injuries. The driver of the Taurus sustained also died at the scene, but has not yet been identified.
It is believed that alcohol is a factor in this accident.
