Wounded man placed under arrest for Sun Valley dispute

SUN VALLEY, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- One man has been arrested in connection to a domestic dispute that occurred in Sun Valley over the weekend.

According to the Washoe County Sheriff's Office, 35-year-old Jason Michael Flores was arrested on the charges of Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Battery and Ex-felon in Possession of a Firearm. Flores was transported to Renown Regional Medical Center for a gunshot wound in the buttocks.

Washoe County Sheriff's Office Public Information Officer Bob Harmon said that three people were involved in the dispute at a home in the 5500-block of Sun Vista Court. No other people have been arrested.

Flores' bail was set at $50,000. The investigation in ongoing.
