RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) - A local restaurant is serving more than just pies. Friday was the grand opening of Z Pie, a gourmet pot pie restaurant. It serves not only food, but also helping out teen boys who are transitioning out of foster care.
Owner Lynette Eddy opened Z Pie and bought a house with her late husband's life insurance to give teen boys a home and a job when they leave foster care.
Mayor Bob Cashell and members of the Reno City Council were at the grand opening. Z Pie is located in the West Street Market.
