RENO, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- Of the 330 certified Health Link Navigators in Nevada, only ten have a criminal background according to Nevada Insurance Commissioner Scott Kipper.

Nevada Health Link navigators are similar to insurance agents for Nevada's Health Insurance Exchange. Kipper says and each one of the navigators with criminal backgrounds were carefully screened to ensure they were not likely to commit any kind of crime with personal information they now had access to.

The Insurance Commissioner says they have not had a single complaint regarding an insurance navigator. To submit a complaint, visit the Health Exchange website at exchange.nv.gov.

I am guessing that only 10 out of 330 is supposed to make us all feel OK about that situation? WHY would any be hired if they have a criminal past when the public must give over very personal information that could be used for all the wrong purposes by a criminal.
