wasn't even a brushback, it was a batter-catcher 'xcuuuse mee' -get yer facts right first. By the way, same deal with the famous Marichal-Roseboro bat-bashing incident in '65. But there also was a Watts riot in people's minds. esS efF-where the 'real' Paladin used to hang!

Its part of the game people. There is an etiquette to baseball and if someone violates unwritten rules of good baseball behavior, then the benches will be cleared. A pitcher isn't going to stand for his teammates getting intentionally hit or severely brushed back. At some point a good fight on the field gets it all settled and hopefully left on the field. I was just glad to see Phil Nevin in the middle of it. Shows he has some passion for the game and his players.

what a meek and mindless story-Y not just tell the facts like on TV? these were players. I saw another header that this was between the 'Dbacks and Dodgers' farm teams. what, no minors allowed?
