SPARKS, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- Sparks Police say they have arrested 15-year-old Carlos Montoya for the murder that occurred on 11th Street in Sparks.
The victim's identity has not been released.

Sparks, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- A 15-year-old male is facing homicide charges after a stabbing in Sparks Monday night.
According to Sparks police, two male hispanic teens approached a man on the 400 block of 11th street around 10 p.m. and after a brief fight, the 15-year-old allegedly stabbed the man once in the chest.
"Currently there are conflicting details on how the confrontation started. Efforts are still being made to establish a motive for the stabbing," said Brian Miller with the Sparks Police. "There are no other subjects outstanding at this time, it does not appear to be gang related."
SPARKS, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- Sparks officials are currently investigating a homicide that occurred Monday night on the 400 block of 11th street.
Officials responded to a stabbing incident around 9:46 p.m. --upon arrival, officers found a male adult seriously injured from a stab wound. SPD says the victim was transported to Renown where he was pronounced deceased.
Witnesses on scene reported that the victim was confronted by two Hispanic, male, juveniles -- a brief physical altercation followed and the two juveniles fled the area on foot. It was during the physical altercation that the stabbing occurred.
One suspect is being described as a Hispanic male juvenile, ranging between the ages of 15 and 17. SPD says he is about 5 ft. tall weighs 100 lbs. The second suspect is being described as a Hispanic male juvenile weighing between 230 and 250 lbs, with an approximate height between 5'8 and 5'10.
SPD says the victim's name is being witheld at this time pending official identification and family notification. Sparks police detectives are currently working to identify and locate the suspect. No further details available at this time.
