16th annual Eurofest celebrates culture, promotes family fun

RENO, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- It's time to brush up on those European dance moves and clear those beer bellies -- the 16th annual Eurofest is making its way to the Sands Regency Resort and Casino in Reno.

The Sands Regency Eurofest brings together free live entertainment, a wide variety of European cuisine and craft beer, and a multitude of craft booths to provide Reno with a fun-filled celebrations of culture for all ages; plus, it's for a great cause. Funds raised will benefit the Shriners Hospitals for Children.

There will be more than forty vendors selling their wares and plenty of good clean fun.

"Friday and Saturday we've got the Goober Family Band down here, [we] are going to have a beer stein contest [and more]... Come on down, it's a lot of fun. We have all the beers, all of the games, and we're going to have great weather as well," says Pete McHugh.

The times of the event are Friday, June 6, from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.; Saturday, June 7, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.; and Sunday, June 8, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The event is free to attend.
