RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- A 17-year-old has been arrested in connection with a series of burglaries in northeast Reno.

In September 2013, a series of residential burglaries, concentrated around a northeast section of town, were reported to Reno Police Department. This neighborhood included the Highland Apartment complex, 2800 block of Enterprise Road, and the nearby residential neighborhoods of Valley, Maddox and Winston Roads, in Reno, Nevada. Reno Police say the suspect was entering different apartments and houses during the day and stealing electronics.

On October 7, 2013, around 1:30p.m., a resident reported a suspicious subject near one of the apartment doors. The subject fled as officers responded to the area.  Police say, a short time later, the 17-year-old juvenile male matching the description was located in the area of Montello Street and Oddie Boulevard. The juvenile ultimately admitted to involvement in several of the cases and was booked on three charges of burglary.
