RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Three people are behind bars for stealing thousands of gallons of used cooking oil from recycling containers throughout Reno.

According to Reno Police Department, the thieves, 28-year-old Frank Bobadilla-Comacho, 25-year-old Alberto Camacho, and 44-year-old Oscar Negrete, had been stealing the oil over several months from different restaurants. The containers belonged to a local company who use the recycled yellow grease.

Police have been investigating the crimes since early September and the alleged robbers sold the oil to a out of state bio diesel company.

The last I heard was that "Dale evans" was Roy Rogers' wife, and that they are both deceased. So how could she skim the taxpayers?

the "out-of-state" EDIT and the bio diesel typo was still there when i viewed it, musta been "justified" (a "journalistic" term, bubba). seems more like a crime of opportunity, not a Major One. the headline forgets "tousands" of gallons, so i was just skimming the facts, like when Dale evans skims the taxpayers. "lighten" up, they're gettin' paid & free donuts. what's the beef with expecting correct English in a "communication", eh? good thing these dingbats don't clerk the court...

The after-market editor missed one. It's not "a out of state bio diesel...", it's "an out of state biodiesel...". But, now that the important stuff is handled, why not acknowledge the minor achievements, such as the police investigating a crime, catching the criminals and getting them off the streets? The theft of thousands of gallons of sludge that, when converted to biofuel, sells for (in 2012) from $4.11 per gallon in Minden, NV to $6.09 per gallon in Big Oak Flat, CA, is a major crime. So, KUDOS TO THE COPS!
