RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) – The 3200 block of West Plumb has been reduced to one lane after Reno Police say a car crashed into a power pole. It happened around 3:15 Wednesday morning (February 27, 2013).
According to NV Energy Spokesperson Karl Walquist, there were no power outages as a result of the crash as the conductor was still attached to the pole and transmitting power.
Officers say it will take most of the day to replace the power pole and they may have to turn off power during the process.
Commuters are asked to use an alternate route during the morning commute.
