Yes "only 20 weeks" 5am to 6 pm....... you then come home to your family and have to study for a test the next day. Missing parties for family and friends because you still have work on Saturday and Sunday. Be it physical "coming home with black eyes, a split lip, cracked forehead have just been hit with a taser and shot in the face with pepper spray, or worse". Or mental, sitting in a hard old school wooden desk for 9 hours a day. The men and women in this group are amazing. Yes it is arduous!!!!! And they are now here to protect you.

Is it really only 20 weeks training for this job? I guess congratulations are in order for completing this arduous task.

Congratulations to all the Graduates! PLEASE re-read your Oath and keep it in mind with your job requirements every day. Also, try to work in some shooting practice every weekend;you may never need to use your gun,but IF you do,your good judgement and accuracy will be what saves,or ruins lives.
