4 Reno bars get cited during an alcohol sting

RENO, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) – Four out of 31 downtown bars served alcohol to a minor during a Superhero Crawl sting on Saturday.

According to a press release, The Regional Street Enforcement Team conducted a sting at 31 businesses on Saturday using two 19-year-old females. Twenty-six of the businesses were official Superhero Crawl participants and five others were also checked.

Citations were issued to employees for sales of alcohol to a minor at the West 2nd St. Bar, St. James Infirmary, Whisky Bar, and Rum Bullions. Additionally, a Rum Bullions door man was cited for allowing a minor into the club.

The Regional Street Enforcement Team includes detectives from the Reno, Sparks and University of Nevada police departments and the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office.
The following establishments refused to serve alcohol to the minors:

Little Nugget Casino
Shooter's Saloon

Jungle Vino
Pizza Reno
Rise Nightclub
Doc Holliday's
The Brew Brothers
1864 Tavern
The Chocolate Bar
Old Granite Street Eatery
West Street Wine Bar
Silver Peak

"cited" or 'are cited' is correct. 'get' and 'cited' are both predicate verbs, and thus "get cited" is redundant. "doorman" commonly is One Word. 'door man' sounds like a roller derby position. I can'r 'get excited' about your journalism skills (sic)
