CARSON CITY, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Two years have passed since a deadly shooting rampage at an IHOP in Carson City. On Sept. 6, 2011, Eduardo Sencion began his rampage by shooting a woman in the IHOP parking lot and then entering the restaurant.
In less than a minute and a half, Sencion took the life of Major Heath Kelly, Sergeant First Class Christian Riege, Miranda McElniney and Florence Donavan Gunderson and injured 14 others. Sencion ended his terror spree by shooting himself in the head.
This morning, dozens gathered at the state's capitol for a 5k run to remember the victims of the worst shooting in Carson City's history.
