RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) - Around 10 a.m. New Year's Day, a 90 year old man accidently drove his vehicle into the side of his neighbor's garage on Robb Drive near Las Brisas Road.

Reno Police and Fire crews were called to the scene and NV Energy was called after it was found that the vehicle had hit the gas pipe in the neighbor's garage. The 90 year old male driver was attempting to pull into the driveway of his home when he accidently hit the gas pedal instead of the brake, prompting his vehicle to drive into the neighbor's garage.

According to police, the occupants of the home were present inside of the home at the time of the crash, but noone was injured. The 90 year old was also not injured and was not transported to the hospital.

An NV Energy crew quickly shut off gas to the home and the scene has been cleared by emergency personnel.

Yo! Editor, pls. ask this writer to go back to UNR journalism class. "accidently" & "noone" probably considered OK, yet, Not! "Occupants of the home were inside of the home" struggles redundantly and needs paring. The 90-year old was uninjured- Period. Is there an Editor in the house??
