YERINGTON, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) - Night in the Country Music Festival is expanding to feature eight country music artists in 2014. Grammy-winning country group, Little Big Town has signed on as one of the headliners for the July 24-26, 2014 event.

The festival traditionally featured six country music performers over the two-night concert period; but that number will be increased to eight for 2014 – four country music artists per night.

Additional artists slated to perform as part of the new, expanded slate of eight will be announced in the near future.

Public ticket sales also kick off on Friday, Nov. 1st and those prices have not increased this year. Two-day general admission festival tickets will be available for $95 plus fees. The Two-Day “Super Fan” pit pass, offering premium access in front of the stage, will be available for $160 plus fees. VIP passes are $325 plus fees per person and include two nights in the VIP Party Tent with hosted food and drinks, premium stage access, and a VIP campsite. Those VIP passes have limited availability. Tickets are available at www.nightinthecountry.org.

The festival will also offer three days of camping beginning Thursday, July 24th. Camping fees are $100 plus fees per reserved spot for the entire festival. Parking for the festival is $10 per vehicle.

Night in the Country 2014 is expected to top last year’s fastest-selling event in history where the weekend attendance reached nearly 20,000 country music fans. Organizers expect even greater ticket sales this time around. To keep pace with growth, Night in the Country last year expanded its festival site to accommodate thousands more fans.

Ticket prices are set to increase as the festival dates approach, so fans are encouraged to buy tickets now. Night in the Country is again offering through EZPay, a payment system for festival goers wishing to pay 5 monthly installments for their tickets rather than the entire cost at one time.

The festival is produced by and benefits the Boys and Girls Clubs of Mason Valley, a non-profit organization dedicated to serving youth in the community with character-building educational and recreational programs.
