RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- "Aladdin" has been made into a stage production at the Eldorado, and after the Eldorado donated 500 tickets to the Dec. 2 matinee to the Salvation Army, the Salvation Army was able to make $26,168 off the tickets.
This is the second year that the Eldorado has donated a holiday matinee to The Salvation Army, which uses donations to fund programs and services for children, seniors, struggling families, those in need of alcohol and drug rehabilitation, the homeless, the hungry and disaster victims.
In addition to selling tickets to raise funds, The Salvation Army was also able to send 175 kids and their families to enjoy the show.
“Aladdin,” with Live Action 3D Megavision, plays in the Eldorado Showroom through January 13, 2012. Showtimes vary Tuesday through Friday with either a single 7 p.m. performance or two performances at 5:30 and 8 p.m. Showtimes on Saturday and Sunday are at 3 and 7 p.m. For more information visit
