SPARKS, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Amazon is donating 35 Kindle e-readers to Newtown Learning Center in Sparks.
Newtown Learning Center says the event will take place at 10:30am tomorrow, Jan. 15. Amazon will be providing the center will $2,500 in gift cards for the Amazon store to download books.
Amazon says they are donating the Kindles in an effort to promote and foster the use of technology in the classroom of special needs students.
