PORTLAND, Ore. (AP & MyNews4.com) — Nevada, Oregon and Washington authorities have issued an Amber Alert for two children who may be traveling with a man suspected of killing a woman in Southern California.

State police say 40-year-old James Lee DiMaggio is believed to be driving a blue 2013 Nissan Versa with the California license plate 6WCU986. Police say a possible sighting was reported Wednesday afternoon near Lakeview, in south-central Oregon.

The children have been identified as 16-year-old Hannah Anderson and 8-year-old Ethan Anderson.

The body of their mother, 42-year-old Christina Anderson, was found in a burned house near the U.S.-Mexico border.
