'American Valley' controlled burn in Quincy

QUINCY, Calif. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- Plumas County will be conducting a controlled burn called the 'American Valley' project.

The American Valley project is expected to burn over 25 acres and will take place just south of East Quincy, California. The burn began Tuesday and will continue through Friday. Residents can expect to see smoke from both Quincy and east of Quincy with that smoke traveling to the east and southeast during the burn operation.
