CARSON CITY, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Congressman Mark Amodei has announced he will return about $155,000 in unspent office funds to the U.S. Treasury to be applied toward national debt reduction.
Amodei says the funds come out to about 11 percent of his budget for 2012. Last year, Amodei returned over $86,000 to the Treasury. Since Amodei was elected in September of 2011, he has supported provisions to cut his personal office's operating budget by 11.4 percent.
