Ridgecrest, Calif. (KRNV & MyNews4.com)--Andrew Montenegro was taken into custody, in Ridgecrest, California by the United States Marshall’s Task Force on Jan. 13, 2012.
Montenegro was taken in on a Lyon County warrant for attempted murder.
When Montenegro was arrested he was in possession of a firearm. It is suspected that the firearm is the same one used in the attempted murder in Fernley.
Montenegro was a suspect in a shooting that happened on Jan. 1, 2012.
Montenegro is being held in the Kern County Jail at this time and it is unknown if California has local charges on him.
