RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- University Police Services is saying another student has come forward and claimed she was assaulted by the suspect described in an assault earlier this week.

The original student reported that on January 27, 2013 at approximately 9:00 pm in the area of 9th & Virginia Street, she was hit and rendered unconscious after having a brief conversation with an unknown person.

Now, another student has come forward to report that she was approached by an individual matching the same description in the area of 15th and Sierra Street on Thursday January 24, 2013 at approximately 9:00 pm.

Both students described the individual as a black male, 5’7 – 5’8 , 180 lbs., wearing a grey-green puffy jacket, missing two front teeth. Anyone having information related to this reported crime should contact University Police Services at 334-COPS (2677), 745-6195 or 911. Police say do not engage the subject or attempt to stop him.

Maybe if the first student who claims to have been attacked (after another comes forward) had reported it, then the second student may not have been attacked? That would have given the police an extra three days to search for this sick individual. Too many people (women in particular) fail to report situations to the police, this only makes it worse for the rest of society. I hope the first girl feels the burden of her do nothingness and excepts some of the blame for the second girl being attacked.
