Applebee's and local law enforcement to raise money for Special Olympics

RENO/SPARKS/CARSON CITY, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Local law enforcement will trade in their handcuffs and badges for aprons and menus at Applebee’s restaurants in Northern Nevada, as part of a Tip-A-Cop® event benefiting Special Olympics.

Local Law enforcement in Reno, Sparks, and Carson City will collect tips and help serve Applebee’s restaurant guests from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and from 5 to 9 p.m.

When: Thursday April 11, 2013 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 5 to 9 p.m.

Carson City: 3300 S. Carson Street, Carson City NV: Lunch and Dinner
