Armed Robbery in the 800 Block of Wells Ave.

Reno, NV. (KRNV & MyNew4.com) – On Tuesday March 12th, 2013 at 4:29 AM Officers responded to a report of an armed robbery behind the 7-11 at Cheney and Wells Ave. 

Reno police say the victim was robbed by three suspects, and hit in the head with a metal pipe. The victim had just left the 7-11 when he was approached by the suspects. The suspects stole an undisclosed amount of cash and the victim's watch.  The victim received treatment for a non-life threatening injury at a local hospital. 

Suspect#1 is described as a black male, 6'3 tall, 300 lbs, with a beard but no mustache. 

Suspect #2 and #3 were described as Hispanic Males wearing baggy clothing. 

Suspect #2 and #3 were seen driving in a black Dodge Durango prior to the robbery.

The Reno Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.  Anyone having information relating to this crime or the suspect should contact the Reno Police Department at 334-2115, Secret Witness at 322-4900, or www.secretwitness.com.

Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $1,500 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspects wanted in connection with this crime.
