RENO, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- One man has been arrested after a drive-by shooting in the Damonte Ranch area. According to Reno Police, officers responded to the area of Damonte Ranch Parkway and Steamboat Parkway following reports of a drive-by shooting just after noon on Saturday.
Following an investigation, it was revealed that two drivers were involved in an altercation. When one of the rivers attempted to leave the area, the suspect, identified as 38-year-old Jason Garlington, drove by the victim in the opposite direction and fired a gun out of the driver-side window. A bullet struck the victim’s vehicle, however, there were no reports of injuries.
During the investigation officers located the suspect, suspect's vehicle, and the gun. The suspect was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and shooting into an occupied vehicle.
